Twelve New Villages

Since July The Gemach Project has funded new loans in twelve new villages.  All of those villages are in Niger.  In August 34 loans were made with new funding and 145 loans were made with funds paid back on previous loans.  In October 37 loans were made with new funding and 135 loans were made with funds paid back from previous loans.  This makes a total of 351 new loans made since the first of August.  All loans again are interest and fee-free.  The repayment rate remains at a staggering 99.92% and brings us to a total of 5,315 loans made in Niger.  We once again give thanks to our loan coordinator, Magagi, for all of the hard work that he does for the people of Niger and for The Gemach Project.
