James chapter 1 tells us that true religion is to help widows and orphans. The Gemach Project has truly been blessed with the opportunity to do just that.
In 2022 we were able to give 26 widows in Nigeria the funds to purchase grinding mills so that they could start businesses to support their struggling families. All of these women had become widows after their husbands had been killed by Jihadists in their country. We are pleased to report that those loans have been paid back and we have been able to provide an additional 132 widows with loans. We thank God for this opportunity and for the blessing he has bestowed upon these widows along with the blessing that our donors are sure to receive. May we continue to do God’s work as he wishes us to.
